The Ladies Barrau
Originally, in the middle of the 19th century, the place was a coaching inn run by the Barrau family. It was then taken over by the next generation to be transformed into a hostelry. It was especially from 1914, when the 3rd generation took over the establishment, that the two sisters Marcelle and Madelaine Barrau created a strong reputation instead by making it a must-see hotel-restaurant in the region. The Hôtel de la Loire (its name at the time), was sold in 1965, its activity will last until 1999.
It is therefore located in the heart of a historic building in the town that the Bistrot des Dames Barrau was created in 2020.
